“SEO Migration in 1 Click? RankMath SEO Makes It Shockingly Easy!”

March 11, 2026 · Sai · 3 min read

Right now, I would say I have made one of the best decisions by using RankMath SEO for my blog. I started writing blogs in 2014, I have been in the blogging world for almost 8+ years, and I have done a lot of research on which is the best tool, and finally, I have settled down with RankMath SEO.

To be frank, during my initial stage of ProBlogVault, I was using Yoast SEO, but later, I wasn’t satisfied with the features and migrated to RankMath SEO. Undoubtedly, this has been one of the best decisions to migrate to RankMath SEO.

This post will guide you on how to “Migrate from other SEO tools to RankMath SEO”.
RankMath SEO

Firstly, do not uninstall any SEO plugin that you are currently using for your website. Just keep in mind that migrating from one SEO tool to another doesn’t change your website’s SEO score (it’s safe to migrate even when your blog/website is “Live” on the internet).

Let’s get started on how to migrate from other SEO tools to RankMath SEO!

Coming to the point, navigate to the Plugins option on your Dashboard.
Click on Plugins and Add Plugins and search for RankMath SEO

Click on “Add Plugin” on the top left and search for RankMath SEO”. Click on Install and later, after installing “Activate” your plugin.

Now, after Activation, a page appears asking for Getting Started. Click Continue, then the next page appears, asking you to import data from the SEO tool you are currently using. Click “Start Import.”
Select your SEO plugin and Click on Import
By clicking this option, all the data from your current SEO tool will start being imported into it.
After Importing Click on Continue
Perfect, now you can check the import status as shown above on your end too. Not only this, after migrating, you have many things to complete as RankMath gives ample options to take your SEO to the next level.

RankMath SEO Options

Verify That the Data Imported Correctly

After the migration is complete, we need to verify that the data has been imported correctly.

  • Check SEO titles and meta descriptions in posts/pages

  • Verify focus keywords

  • Ensure schema settings are imported

  • Check redirections and canonical URLs

This reassures readers that their SEO data is safe.

Configure RankMath Basic Settings

Configuring basic settings is one of the most important steps after importing the data. This plugin helps us to connect with Google Search Console, Sitemaps, 404, etc…

  • Connecting Google Search Console

  • Setting the site type (Blog / Business / Portfolio)

  • Enabling XML sitemap

  • Choosing a schema type for posts

Enable Important RankMath Modules

RankMath has many modules that users can enable

  • 404 Monitor

  • Redirections

  • Schema Markup

  • Instant Indexing

  • SEO Analysis

These features are a big reason many bloggers switch from other SEO tools to Rank Math SEO.

Run the RankMath SEO Analysis

Run the RankMath SEO Analyzer and check your website’s SEO score!. If your score is less, RankMath tells us areas that need improvement, and based on that, you can increase your SEO score

Benefits:

  • Finds technical SEO issues

  • Suggests optimization improvements

  • Helps improve the on-page SEO score

When to Delete Your Old SEO Plugin

This is important, and readers often worry about it.

  • Only uninstall the previous plugin after confirming successful migration.

  • Clear the cache and check a few posts first.

  • Then safely remove the old plugin.

Conclusion

Migrating to RankMath SEO was one of the best decisions for my blog. The one-click migration process makes switching from other SEO plugins extremely simple without losing any important SEO data.
